Breadcrumbs

The CESAR Project – Circular Economy Skills and Awareness Raising is a KA202 Project (Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training) funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, which started in October 2020 for a period of two years.

The partnership consists of 7 partners from 5 different countries (Finland, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain), with a common commitment to raise awareness of the Circular Economy among the educational and training communities.

Cesar Project

Developed in the Circular Economy field, CESAR mainly aims to:

  • Raise awareness of the Circular Economy and its benefits;
  • Promote awareness among teachers and students about greener methodologies and approaches;
  • Establish student initiatives to investigate local and regional problems that require sustainable and/or circular solutions;
  • Improve students' skills for the circular economy, helping to prepare the future workforce for the challenges of transitioning from the linear to the circular economy.

In order to achieve this, the partnership will design and develop a set of educational and training materials that can be used by the teachers in Vocational Education and Training courses (and also in scholar education) to promote the awareness raising and skills development of students’ on circular economy subjects.

Upon completion, the CESAR project will be able to provide access to a comprehensive learning program and materials that promote the concept of Circular Economy, principles and objectives that have been tested and validated in learning contexts of Vocational Education and Training.
